Ibrahim Kassem "Freddy" Deeb born November 27, 1955 in Beirut, Lebanon, is a professional poker player with two WSOP bracelets who immigrated from Lebanon to the United States when he was 19 years old!
Deeb attended the University of Utah when civil war broke out in Lebanon in 1975, then lost contact with his parents who stopped sending him money, and because he could not work due to his student visa Deeb started playing poker but had to end up leaving his Mechanical Engineering course just 12 credits finish it!
In 1996 obtained his first bracelet at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event by winning the "Deuce to Seven Draw, " later in 2007 after 11 years again wins a WSOP main event at "HORSE"!
